What Is ERP Programme Assurance
ERP programme assurance is an independent review of how an ERP implementation or upgrade is planned, built, tested and governed, from initial business case through to go-live and beyond.
Rather than reviewing the ERP vendor's own project status reports, it gives management and the audit committee an objective, third party view of whether the programme is on track, whether the controls being designed into the new system are actually adequate, and whether the business case originally used to justify the investment is still being met.
