BDO Cambodia is an approved member firm of the Kampuchea Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Auditors (KICPAA). We are one of the first three accounting firms approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Cambodia (SECC) as a professional accounting firm and independent auditor providing professional services in the securities sector in Cambodia. BDO Cambodia is also an approved independent auditor of banks and financial institutions by the National Bank of Cambodia (NBC).

BDO in the community

At BDO Cambodia, we recognise the importance of “giving back” to the community that we conduct our business in and managing the impact our activities have on the environment.

Our community involvement projects include participation in the surgical missions organised by Smile Cambodia - an international non-profit medical services organisation - which are held at various locations in Cambodia throughout the year. BDO Cambodia’s role in the surgical missions include liaising with patients, translation and performing various administrative tasks as well as donating food and other essential items to the patients. Participation in these projects not only benefit our communities, at the same time they also bolster our team spirit and strengthen relationships among our staff.

We are also committed to green initiatives and environmental protection. Steps taken towards this end include reducing paper consumption by reminding staff to think twice before printing and encouraging staff to go paperless during meetings and presentations. We have also placed many plants around our office in an effort to create a greener and healthier environment for our staff to work in. Lastly, continuous effort has be undertaken to reduce power consumption by switching off lightings, laptops and other electrical equipment when they are not in use.
