On Bee Yee

On Bee Yee is an Executive Director of Tax at BDO in Malaysia. She has been in the tax practice for over 18 years. Prior to joining tax practice, she was in audit practice for 4 years.

Bee Yee has handled tax compliance works for individuals and corporate clients. Her experience in corporate tax covers a wide range of industries including manufacturing, trading, construction and property development, investment holding, consultancy and professional service provider, information technology, and multi-national corporations. In addition, she has been involved in tax compliance related advisory and tax audit assignments.

Bee Yee has also handled expatriates tax filing for international assignees, coordinated with international tax teams to manage cross-border tax issues, and ensured compliance with Double Taxation Avoidance Agreements (DTAs) and Malaysian tax laws.

Bee Yee's key areas of expertise include corporate tax compliance, individual tax compliance including local and international assignees, tax audit, and assisting businesses in implementing e-invoice.
