Cha Lun has more than 15 years of experience in the valuation of shares, businesses, and intangible assets for transaction and financial reporting purposes, including for acquisitions, disposals, and public and private reporting. The nature of the engagements that he has led includes valuation, purchase price allocation, impairment review, and financial model review.
There is a wide range of clients that he has worked with including commercial banks, public listed companies, multinational companies, and private businesses.
Currently, at BDO, Cha Lun is a Director in Corporate Finance Department and is mainly involved in corporate finance engagements, such as corporate valuation, independent advice, purchase price allocation, fairness opinion, M&A activities, and Initial Public Offering (IPO) related engagements.
Prior to joining BDO in Malaysia, Cha Lun was an Associate Director in Transaction Advisory Services with one of the Big Four Accounting Firms in Malaysia.
