Eng Cha Lun

Prior to joining BDO Malaysia, Cha Lun was an Associate Director in Transaction Advisory Services with one of the Big Four Accounting Firms in Malaysia. 

He has more than 15 years of experience in the valuation of shares, businesses and intangible assets for transaction, litigation support as well as financial reporting purposes, including for acquisitions, disposals, public reporting and private reporting. The nature of the engagements that he has led includes valuation, purchase price allocation, impairment review and financial model review. 

There is a wide range of clients that he has worked with including public listed companies, multinational companies and private businesses.

Currently, at BDO, Cha Lun is an Executive Director in Deal Advisory Department and is mainly involved in corporate finance engagements such as corporate valuation, independent advice for both related-party transaction and take-over, purchase price allocation, fairness opinion, M&A activities and Initial Public Offering (IPO) related engagements.
