Overview
As an Audit Associate, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality audit and assurance services to a diverse portfolio of clients. You will work closely with experienced professionals to gain exposure to various industries, develop strong technical and analytical skills, and play a part in ensuring our clients’ financial integrity and compliance with regulatory standards.
This role is ideal for detail-oriented individuals who enjoy working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and are eager to build a career in the audit and accounting profession.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and executing audit engagements in accordance with the firm’s auditing standards
- Perform substantive testing and analytical review of financial statements and supporting documentation
- Identify and communicate accounting and auditing issues to the engagement team
- Prepare working papers, audit documentation, and draft audit findings
- Support senior auditors in preparing audit reports and client deliverables
- Keep up to date with accounting and auditing standards, regulations, and industry developments
Education and professional skills / knowledge
Experience & Education
- A recognised degree in Accounting or equivalent with at least a second class upper classification and / or
- A recognised Professional Accounting qualification in ACCA, CPA, ICAEW or MICPA are also encouraged to apply
Other skills:
- Active in co-curricular activities in school/university, preferably holding leadership positions
- A team player with a positive attitude, initiative, and attention to detail
- Analytical, problem solver, resourceful and self-motivated person
- Strong proficiency in English, both verbal and written
