Our Tax Advisory team delivers expert advice and strategic guidance to businesses and organizations on a wide range of tax-related matters, ensuring compliance and optimizing tax positions. In this role, you will work closely with clients across various industries, providing advisory services on complex tax issues, including corporate tax planning, mergers and acquisitions, cross-border transactions, and other key business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee tax advisory projects, including tax compliance, planning, and dispute resolution
- Provide expert guidance on corporate restructuring, mergers, acquisitions, and other complex transactions
- Offer strategic advice on international tax matters, including transfer pricing, withholding taxes, and VAT/GST across multiple jurisdictions
- Identify potential tax risks and develop strategies to mitigate exposure to audits or penalties
- Seek opportunities for tax savings, credits, and deductions in alignment with evolving tax laws and incentives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive business solutions
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and long-term partnerships
- Lead and mentor team members to ensure high-quality deliverables
Education and professional skills/ knowledge
- A recognized degree in Accounting or equivalent and/or a professional accounting qualification
- At least 5 years of working experience and in-depth knowledge of tax and other related legislation, ideally gained in a professional practice environment
Other skills:
- Possess strong people management, interpersonal, communication and networking skills
- A client service mindset and capable of being an effective business advisor and problem solver
- Strong written and oral communication skills with excellent command of English
