Judy Tang Pik Ching is an Executive Director, Advisory at BDO Malaysia. She has also managed the disposal of a biodiesel plant under receivership, overseeing multi-lender arrangements, conducting competitive tender processes, and executing complex litigation-linked transactions. In addition, she oversaw the solvent liquidation of a public company in the financial services industry, addressing technical tax matters and facilitating distributions to shareholders.
Prior to joining BDO, she was the Chief Financial Officer of the law firm, Jeff Leong, Poon & Wong and had spent two decades with a Big 4 audit firm, Ernst & Young PLT (EY).
She is a Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), and holds the designation of Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA). She is also a Member of the Insolvency Practitioners’ Association of Malaysia (iPAM). She earned a BA (Hons) in Accounting and Financial Management from the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom.
Judy has contributed to key industry publications, co-authoring a chapter on insolvency practitioners in Law & Practice of Corporate Insolvency in Malaysia, and the chapter on judicial management in Restructuring & Insolvency: A Commentary.
