Andrew Buchanan - Global Head of IFRS and Corporate Reporting, BDO Global
Andrew is BDO’s Global Head of IFRS and Corporate Reporting, and has extensive experience of the technical interpretation and practical application of IFRS Accounting Standards. He is a member of BDO’s IFRS Policy Committee and IFRS Sustainability Reporting Policy Committee, and represents BDO at meetings with the IASB, ISSB, EFRAG, securities regulators and other organisations.
Andrew is a member of the Accountancy Europe Corporate Reporting Policy Group and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland Corporate and Financial Reporting Panel. He was previously a member of the IFRS Interpretations Committee, IASB/FASB Joint Transition Resource Group for revenue recognition, the IFRS Advisory Council and the UK Treasury Financial Reporting Advisory Board.
