Overview
Key responsibilities
- Oversee and manage end-to-end audit process for clients, ensuring audits are completed on time, within budget and adherence to regulatory requirements
- Review and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, MFRS) and applicable laws
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls
- Prepare detailed audit reports, highlighting key findings, issues, and recommendations for management and stakeholders
- Present audit findings to senior management, boards, and external stakeholders, offering insights on improvements and risk mitigation strategies
- Lead and mentor junior auditors, providing guidance on audit methodologies, technical skills, and career development
Education and professional skills / knowledge
Experience & Education:- A recognized degree in Accounting or equivalent with a Professional Accounting qualification and / or membership in Malaysian Institute of Accountants
- At least 1 year of working experience, preferably in professional services environment for senior associate
- More than 3 years of working experience, preferably in a professional services environment, with at least 1 year of experience in leading and managing teams for assistant manager

- Able to manage multiple engagements and deadlines
- Strong drive to excel professionally and ability to guide and motivate team members
- Strong written and verbal command of English
- Proficient in MS Office - Excel, Powerpoint, Word and Outlook
