Overview
The Admin Assistant, Audit provides administrative and clerical support to the audit team through assistance with audit documentation, filing, confirmations, and basic data preparation. This role offers hands on exposure to the fundamentals of audit work, allowing you to build a strong foundation while supporting auditors with essential day to day tasks.

Overview
The Admin Assistant, Audit provides administrative and clerical support to the audit team through assistance with audit documentation, filing, confirmations, and basic data preparation. This role offers hands on exposure to the fundamentals of audit work, allowing you to build a strong foundation while supporting auditors with essential day to day tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing, organising, and filing audit documents and working papers in an accurate and systematic manner
- Sort, label, scan, and upload supporting documents (e.g. invoices, receipts, bank statements) into the relevant filing systems
- Prepare audit confirmation letters using standard templates and maintain accurate tracking lists
- Assist with formatting audited financial statements, ensuring proper layout, alignment, and pagination
- Perform cross-referencing of Audit working papers
- Carry out basic casting and cross-checking of figures based on instructions provided by the audit team
- Provide support to audit engagement teams during inventory counts
- Assist with audit procedures related to business processes such as Sales, Purchases, Payroll, Property, Plant and Equipment, Treasury, and other Material Non-significant Accounts
- Perform data entry tasks and prepare schedules based on information provided
- Provide administrative support to auditors throughout the audit engagement process
Education and professional skills / knowledge
Experience & Education:
- STPM holder, Diploma, Advance Diploma in Accounting or equivalent with at least a second class upper classification
Other skills
- Basic knowledge of accounting documents
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Detail-oriented, organised, and able to follow instructions accurately
- A team player with a positive attitude, initiative, and attention to detail
