Chau On has over 25 years of professional experiences in auditing and advisory services in China and Malaysia. His expertise includes auditing, merger and acquisition, business valuation, financial due diligence, risk management, internal control assessment and accounting advisory as well as Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) advisory.
Prior to joining BDO, Chau On was a partner in Ernst & Young in China where he was mainly involved in merger and acquisition services and led several reporting accountants’ engagements for initial public offering (IPO) on both the HKSE and NASDAQ.
Chau On has managed a diverse range of clients from startups to multinational corporations in various industries including oil and gas, mining and metal, e-commerce, consumer and industrial products, power and utilities, property development and construction.
