Yong Mee Thing

Mee Thing has over 10 years’ experience in tax compliance and tax advisory.

She has handled tax compliance work for corporate clients, Malaysian individuals and expatriate individuals. Her experience in corporate tax and advisory covers a wide range of industries including property developer, management and construction, manufacturing, trading, marketing, plantation, investment holding company, retail,  plantation and groups of companies.

Since 2009, she has been extensively involved in providing advice and representing taxpayers in the area of Tax Audits and Tax Investigation, having assisted and resolved numerous cases between taxpayers and the Malaysian Inland Revenue Board (IRB).

She is a member of the Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia (CTIM) and is in the Tax Audit and Investigation Working Group (TAIWG) of CTIM for the 2021/2022 term.
