Beh Tok Koay Senior Advisor, Tax |  | | Beh Tok Koay is the Senior Advisor for Tax at BDO Malaysia. He has more than 30 years of experience in taxation both with the Inland Revenue and as a leader in Deloitte, a Big 5 tax practice. He has advised large local and multi-national clients on complex tax engagements in areas including IPOs, corporate reconstruction, privatisation, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions and others. He has led many delegations in dialogues and discussions with Government authorities. He was the President of the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (“MICPA”) from 2002 to 2004, and is currently a Council Member of MICPA. He was a Council Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (“MIA”) for more than five years. He is also the Chairman of MICPA’s Tax Practice Committee and Chairman of MIA’s Taxation Committee. He contributes his time generously to professional and regulatory bodies locally and internationally. He was a Technical Adviser to the Board of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC). | | |
