Lim Huck Hai

Partner, Advisory

Lim Huck Hai is a Partner of BDO in Malaysia and a member of BDO International’s Risk Advisory Services Steering Committee. He leads the Risk Advisory Services practice for BDO in Asia Pacific and heads a team of specialists developing, promoting and delivering risk advisory, IT, business performance and outsourcing services to clients across all industry sectors.

He has over 18 years working experience with Big 5s and has led the global teams of professionals in completing many large-scale complex advisory engagements for multi-national corporations. His key clients included Iskandar Investment Berhad, Telekom Malaysia, Shell, IMPACT, CyberSecurity, Petronas, PIDM, BNM, Government of Malaysia, MCMC, Western Digital, MSC Trustgate and a number of financial institutions and MNCs. Prior to joining BDO in Nov 2007, he was a partner of KPMG and an Asia Pacific service leader of their Risk Advisory Services practice.

He was a council member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants, Director of ISACA – Malaysia Chapter and divisional council member of CPA Australia. He was a member of a number of technical committees established by the professional bodies.
