Ng Kim Tuck is the Senior Advisor for Audit at BDO Malaysia. Prior to joining BDO Malaysia, Kim Tuck was an Audit Partner at KPMG Malaysia, one of the Big 5 accounting firms. From 1979 to 1981, he was seconded to Houston. In 1985, he was admitted as a partner of the firm and served as the partner-in-charge of the firm’s Audit Division as well as being the Risk Management Partner and partner-in-charge of Ethics and Independence. Kim Tuck was also formerly the Chairman of KPMG’s Audit and Accounting Committee, which provides directives and consultative support on technical issues. Kim Tuck is a Council Member of both the MICPA and MIA. He has also served on various committees of the MICPA and MIA as well as various working groups in the Malaysian Accounting Standards Board. Kim Tuck has an extensive range of experience in coordinating and managing complex assurance assignments in the palm oil and plantation, automotive, manufacturing, trading, building and construction, property development, insurance and energy and natural resources sectors. He is also an experienced investigating accountant who has worked on innumerable due diligence exercises and has been the reporting accountant on numerous flotations/IPOs and Bond/Rights Issues. |
