Lee Boon Hooi

Lee Boon Hooi is Executive Director of Tax at BDO Malaysia’s Northern Practice Office. She has over 20 years’ experience in tax practice. Prior to joining BDO, she was a Principal of a mid-sized tax firm.

She has extensive experience in managing tax affairs of both Malaysian and multinational companies involved in manufacturing, property development, construction, tourism, medical service, retail and services industries.

Boon Hooi’s key areas of expertise include tax compliance, tax audit and investigation, transfer pricing, tax related advisory and assist businesses in handling tax disputes. She has also involved in numerous indirect tax advisory assignments. 

She is committee member of Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia, Northern Branch.
