Currently Ah Leck managed a portfolio of Internal Audit outsourcing, risk and governance and forensic engagements with clients across a range of industries. He also assisted several groups of companies in the implementations of GST.
Prior to joining BDO, Ah Leck was a partner in KPMG Malaysia’s Johor Bahru office. Ah Leck joined KPMG Malaysia in 1978. He was seconded to the KPMG office in Houston, Texas, from 1987 to 1989. In 1997, he was admitted as a partner of the firm and served as the partner-in-charge of the firm’s Southern Division.
He has extensive experience during his tenure with KPMG in coordinating and managing complex assurance assignments of public interest entities in the oil & gas, plantation, manufacturing, trading, construction and property development industries. He has also worked on numerous due diligence assignments and has been the reporting accountants on many IPOs and Bond/Rights Issues.
